Chaffinch
A colourful member of the finch family. They have quite clear markings, brownish pink cheeks and throat with a gray blue collar, a brown back and yelllowish feather edges. Some species can be prone to a viral fungal disease which affects their feet. The Chaffinch can be found living in and around woodland and forestry areas, and are often seen around picnic sites, scavenging for food.
