During the winter months, the garden takes on another form, most of the earlier colour has gone, summer flowers have died back in anticipation of the colder weather to come. All the leaves have fallen from the trees, and have been raked up for compost. The grass has stopped growing (thank goodness) and we wait for the frosts and snow.
