Gisborough Hall Hotel - The Grounds
Sitting on the sun terrace on a warm sunny afternoon enjoying a drink and brunch is a lovely way to relax and enjoy the ambience of this amazing hotel.
From the paved sun terrace you look down on to lawned tennis court and adjoining croquet lawn.
Looking over the tennis court towards the North Yorkshire moors are a family of Llamas grazing in the field completely oblivious of the nosey human visitors busily trying to take photos and selfies as the animals come into view.
The east side of the hotel are the formal gardens, our visits have been in July when the rose gardens and lavender beds have been in full flower and make quite a spectacle. The Victorian water fountain in the centre of the rose beds forms a nice centre piece with water gently trickling over the upper lip into pool below.
Around the northern aspects of the hotel are the woods, carefully cut out paths have been formed to enable dog walkers and visitors alike to take a pleasant, relaxing stroll amongst the trees.
