Set in some sixty of acres of rolling Howardian Hills, Yorkshire Lavender has a prime location overlooking the Vale of York, providing stunning views of the surrounding countryside. The lavender beds have been voted one of the top three gardens to visit in North Yorkshire by ‘Channel four’ and one of the top fifteen most inspiring gardens to visit in England by ‘Ideal Home’ magazine.

There is a Specialist plant nursery selling a large range of lavenders as well as unusual perennials, grasses and wildflowers. The Gift Shop sells a good selection of quality lavender products and is well worth a visit, as is EJ’s Licensed Tea Rooms. I can personally recommend the toasted chicken and bacon toasted sandwich.
