Stillingfleet Lodge Gardens
A Lovely Cottage garden set in the village of Stillingfleet on the B1222, between Selby & York.
The Lodge was purchased back in 1975 as a farmhouse that needed some loving care and attention, having been empty for over twelve months, along with a small garden, vegetable plot and three acres of grassland. Today the house and gardens bear little resemblance of forty years ago. The grassland has been converted into themed gardens with a meandering path running through the entire garden. Each garden has that certain wow factor with different scents, colours and features that capture your attention as you make your way through them. There is a wildlife pond and surrounding wildflower meadow which attracts all kinds of wildlife.
At the end of your tour you can sit and relax in the courtyard café with a drink and homemade cakes. A lovely place to visit.
The Gardens and Nursery are open from 2nd April to 30th September every Wednesday and Friday and 1st and 3rd Saturday and Sunday of each month from 1.00pm to 5.00pm.
