Flamborough
Flamborough village and headland is situated on the most easterly coastal point in the East Riding of Yorkshire. The headland extends out into the North Sea for about four miles. The chalky white cliffs provide a stunning backdrop for villagers and tourists alike. The lighthouse is a prominent feature for the village and coastline and serves as a reminder as to how treacherous the hidden rocks can be to shipping should they venture too close to the mainland. The village still retains its fishing traditions.
