Most of the fauna spotted during our safari was taken from around the lodges. The majority of the land mass being too dry to support any conventional planting as such. The thorny Acacia tree tend to thrive in the drought conditions and was an ideal food source for the Girraffe. Due to the terrain and climatic conditions forestry only  take up around 2% of the total land mass.
