Ververt Monkeys
A true character of the African Plains. They live in troops of between 30-60 animals and seem to spend most of their time play fighting amongst the trees and lodge roofs especially at Lake Naivasha and on the Masai Mara. They are quite leggy and tend to be a bit smaller than the Baboon and have a light olive/grey coat offset with a black face, white ruff and pale belly. They are highly intelligent and have an array of alarm calls.
