Hotel Gardone is a beautiful hotel built in 1884 on the south western shore of Lake Garda.

The main façade of the hotel is facing the lake and best viewed whilst on the lake. Since its construction the hotel has had several refurbishments and alterations without loosing the elegant style that is evident as soon as you enter the hotel foyer. One of key-features of the main building is the majestic lakeside façade, giving unprecedented views over the lake. The morning sunrise is a spectacle to behold. The panoramic lakeside terrace provides some incredible views of the hotel, the lake and the surrounding mountains.

The hotel has 167 rooms and junior suites. There are two main restaurants both situated on the lakeside. The cuisine of the Grand Hotel relies entirely on the typical produce of the area. There is a small outdoor snack bar adjacent to the outdoor heated swimming pool. Winnie’s piano bar is the ideal place for cocktails or a quiet drink by the side of the lake, or for some pleasant and relaxing moments with music after you have had your evening meal.

All the staff are excellent, polite, attentive and obliging. It is certainly a hotel I will be looking forward to visiting again in the years to come and makes an ideal base for a holiday on Lake Garda.
