Albir is a small resort situated between Benidorm and Altea. The beach is called “Playa de Racó de l’Albir” and is approx. 590 metres long, and has received the European Union Blue Ribbon award annually since 2001. The tree lined promenade is wide and spacious and has Hollywood style plaques honouring the stars who have won awards at Albir's film festival. Small café’s and bars line the sea front. We enjoyed a pleasant afternoon drink at one of the café’s.
