Marina Piccola  is the main transport intersection for Sorrento as buses and coaches drop off/collect their passengers taking the ferries to Capri, the Amalfi Coast, Naples and Ischia. You can walk down the steep road from Piazza Tasso, or take a bus. There is a sun bathing area constructed, as is typical in this area, on pontoons and a limited beach area. Restaurants and bars cater for those awaiting or returning from their boat trips.
